So much for Swiss brands folks, let us talk about Sinn instead which is celebrating its 55th anniversary this 2016. It is indeed suitable for the brand’s celebration since as a commemorative piece, it houses the horology world’s most intricate technologies that is the very special split-seconds chronograph incorporating a ratchet or column wheel lever for its actuation. The split-second hand remains in sync with the main chronograph seconds hand until it gets stopped by the pusher at 8. With the adjustment of the pusher again the split-second hand races to catch back up until both are moving in sync with each other again – pretty much neat and stable. Furthermore, the column wheel adds to the chronograph’s actuation that is very accurate and with buttery smooth operation.
