On August 15th 2017, Mr Porter launched eleven timepieces from the Clifton Collection. Standout models include the newly released Clifton Club models, such as the Clifton GMT and the Clifton Club Shelby Cobra Saytona Coupe.
A limited edition of the Flyback Chronograph, of which only 196 pieces have been produced, will be launched as well as two timepieces from the Classima Collection featuring both Classima Automatic and Quartz novelties.
When this was an invitation only watch occasion, it would perform as like: Maximillian Busser and Friends would arrange a private gathering at Lake Geneva with the best watch influencers to talk about the state of the watch industry, have a “watch series” full of one-off collectibles, also, importantly, drink copious amounts of “hot” beer with a side of gloating to help wash down it. Richard Mille, De Bethune, Ressence, and HYT would signify some of the innovative watch businesses to pop up with showcases. The bonus round would be the Deep Dive Sprint (most water and pressure resistance). Completing the festivities are a “watch series” and a tribute movie of the late George Daniels. Obviously, Baume et Mercier are the title sponsor of the shindig with everyone riding in around Indian Motorcycles.
